Celebrating Jim Henson’s Musical World with songs made famous by THE MUPPETS and Friends
For decades, The Muppets and the gang who lives on Sesame Street have been entertaining the world through laughter, learning, love – and lots of music. Join us in a celebration of the most sensational, inspirational, and muppetational songs made popular by those googly eyed greats.
Our American Songbook honors the Henson legacy with a countdown (ah, ah, ah!) of the best Sesame Street and Muppets songs. From the shows’ theme songs to “‘C’ is for Cookie” and Ernie’s “Rubber Ducky,” all those beloved favorites will be devotedly performed in this family-friendly concert. It’s impossible not to sing along with our singers and their renditions of “People In Your Neighborhood” or Kermit’s melancholy ballad “Bein’ Green.” Songs made famous by Oscar the Grouch, Bert, Grover, Big Bird, Elmo and more will show us how entertainment and education go hand in hand as kids learned to count, overcame the fear of being alone, and accepting differences.
