As we emerged from the challenges and sadness of the Covid-19 pandemic, one thing was clear for our team: we wanted to spread joy. As such, we planned a live theatrical series of joyful experiences to help patrons leave their coronavirus cocoons and share the joy with others:. Here are just a few of the programs offered though the Funhouse.
HOUSE PARTIES
With three auditoriums and a snazzy lobby and cafe, 3Below is a great place to have a party, have a family gathering, have a business event, or just have fun. We’ve packaged some parties just for you (and a few dozen friends!) to host at our house. BROADWAY KARAOKE
Just like regular ‘ole karaoke we’ll have music, lyrics, and a mic for you BUT UNLIKE regular ‘ole karaoke the song list will be 100% Broadway show-tunes. The lyrics will be on the big screen and in between songs, you’ll learn choreography to perform together, opt-in for themed games, and have a chance to answer Broadway trivia for prizes. On “It’s Showtime!” karaoke nights, we’ll take our places for the top of Act 1 and sing through an entire score of a hit musical! FAMILY GAME NIGHT
Family Game Night is fun for the whole family and a simple, stress-free way to feed the bunch, enjoy each other’s company, and then crush them all in a variety of games…board games, trivia games, audience participation games, so many games! Learn more…
OPEN MIC NIGHTS
Filled with the sound of musical theatre…or pop, country, and rock ‘n roll…or opera…or side-splitting laughter, Open Mic Nights are a win/win since the guests get a great night of free entertainment and the performers get a safe space to try out new material, build a following, and get those ever-present butterflies out of their system. READING GROUP
Whether you’re an avid reader or want to get back into reading for pleasure, come on over to 3Below’s reading group. We’ll meet in our recently lovingly-renovated Magical Library one morning per month to sit back, relax and listen to stories and poems being read aloud, share your thoughts, and meet new people. STAGE & SCREEN SOCIETY
Movie and theatre lovers age 50 and over are invited to join 3Below’s Stage & Screen Society. Each month’s meeting will feature workshop activities, discussion, the opportunity to meet and talk with writers, directors and actors, and much more. (Coming soon)
