Downtown San Jose’s newest performing arts center is open again with programming in full swing for the holiday season!

San Jose Playhouse is thrilled to present “A Holly Jolly Holiday!” at 3Below Theaters! Join us for a series of film and live events – FREE as well as ticketed – all designed to delight even the biggest Scrooge! If you’re looking for something to do this holiday season – for youth, families, and adults – then mark your calendar for a holly, jolly holiday with 3Below and San Jose Playhouse!

To enter the venue, all guests will need to show proof of full vaccination. Youth age 11 and under not yet vaccinated may enter if masked.

To experience outdoor activities on our patio, all participants will wear a mask.

Free Holiday Story Walk

Enjoy our lovingly created art installation featuring big, bright beautiful banners while you listen to favorite holiday stories, holiday songs, holiday humor, and holiday trivia…all presented as audio accompaniment in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

This FREE walk-by experience is installed on San Carlos between 2nd and 3rd Streets and is open:

November 27-December 19, 2021 | 5:00pm-9:00pm

December 20-26, 2021 | 10:00am-9:00pm

Kids of all ages will enjoy our Holly Jolly Holiday Experience which includes food, fun, and film!

Admission Includes:

A rotation to our 3 Imagination Stations where you can decorate a holiday photo frame, create a reindeer ornament, and write your letter to Santa
Photos with our adorably costumed holiday characters! Get your camera to capture these cheerful moments!
A delicious holiday cookie and hot chocolate or hot coffee…yum!
A goodie bag filled with giveaways and treats
A spin on our prize wheel (one spin per family) where every spin is a winner!
AND a FREE holiday short film starring Rudolph, Frosty, The Grinch, and more of your favorite holiday characters

Live Music & Holiday Song Sing-alongs!

We’re bringing the entertainment outdoors this holiday season so grab a cozy blankie, mittens, and earmuffs as we gather on our patio for live entertainment, holiday music, and fun! Our talented musicians will delight you with holiday tunes played on a variety of instruments to celebrate the season. Then, our wacky host will lead sing-alongs of favorite holiday songs and give out prizes for those who know the answers to our holiday trivia questions!
