“Conjunction Junction, What’s Your Function?” These five little words and all the catchy, jazzy tunes and tales from Schoolhouse Rock taught millions of kids, camped out in front of the television set every Saturday morning from 1973 to 1985, the fundamentals of math, grammar, science, and history. We learned how a bill becomes a law in “I’m Just a Bill”, visited the planets of our solar system with “Interplanet Janet”, turned adjectives into perfectly good adverbs in “Lolly,Lolly, Lolly, Get Your Adverbs Here”, and unknowingly memorized the “Preamble” of the Constitution. Young and old alike – catch the train at Conjunction Junction and join us on a journey to San Jose Playhouse’s SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE!
“This is a musical show for the whole family, but in particular, if you were a “regular” of watching “Schoolhouse Rock” on ABC television in the 70’s and 80’s, you can have a reunion with the old songs and classroom lessons musically unfolded in this top-flight show. You’ll love it.”

“The snazzy production was a gleeful bop down memory lane… The nostalgic glow brought on by ‘Schoolhouse Rock Live!’ is undeniable, but the show also has much to offer for those unfamiliar with the whole phenomenon. For fans, though, the experience is one big groovy delight. This ‘Schoolhouse’ rocks.”
