Voice Lessons for Adults and Teens

At Stephen Guggenheim Vocal Studio you will find an experienced, highly-qualified expert in vocal performance and technique. Mr. Guggenheim is now accepting new students of all levels for private instruction.

About Stephen Guggenheim

In addition to a life-long career as a professional singer, Stephen has been a private voice teacher for over 30 years. He is well-versed in the repertoire of many genres and has taught classes in voice, music history, musicianship, and pedagogy. As a Cantor, he taught classes in liturgy and choral music. Stephen’s students are musicians of a wide range from lovers of music to professional singers enjoying successful careers in Opera, Musical Theater, Jazz, Folk, Pop and Rock. Method

Stephen has an innate sense when it comes to music and aims to help you achieve your goals, release tensions, and express love and healing through the expression of singing. He focuses on a healthy technique, breath, projection, support, alignment, and the love of music.

Stephen’s students are vocalists, performers, and musicians of a wide range from lovers of music to professional singers enjoying successful careers in Opera, Musical Theater, Jazz, Folk, Pop and Rock. But what do they all have in common? They want to use their voice – their instrument – not just today, but for their lifetime. And whether they need their voice for a career in opera, a voice over artist, as a newscaster, or as a teacher who speaks to a class all day long, the foundational approach Stephen teaches is the same….as is its success.

If you want to know how to sing or speak, how to do so healthily, and how to build and call upon technique that will sustain a career beyond your natural talent, Stephen has the answer.

Private Instruction

Stephen has private studios in the North Bay (Fairfield, CA) and South Bay (San Jose area, multiple locations.)  During the 2020 pandemic shelter-in-place mandates, students can enjoy success using FaceTime and Zoom for lessons.
